Over the past 30 years, as technical sales manager for internationally known manufacturers of pharmaceutical processing equipment, Barry Fox worked with R&D and production personnel to achieve process optimization and equipment selection.
He has presented technology at PMA and generic companies as well as industry symposiums and workshops on the subjects of capsule filling, near infrared process monitoring, high shear granulation, fluid bed processing, drying equipment and GMP's.
As a means of improving technology transfer within the industry, he is very involved in association activities. He is currently the Treasurer of the New Jersey Pharmaceutical Association of Science and Technology (NJPhAST), past president and Member of Board of Trustees. He also served as President of CESEA (Chemical Equipment Sales Engineers Association). He has been a contributor to Pristine Processing and Chemical Engineering magazines as well as author of the chapter on Drying in the Fermentation and Biochemical Engineering Handbook.
A member of American MENSA, he holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, 1976.
